Williams Controls has inaugurated its new manufacturing facility in Pune, India, on January 11, 2011. The plant will manufacture electronic pedals for Williams’ growing base of customers in India’s truck, bus and off-road markets. Validation testing for the plant was completed in December 2010, with production scheduled to begin in February. “It is a proud day to see firsthand the realization of our vision, five years after we began to engage with the leading Indian commercial vehicle manufacturers,” said Patrick W.
